Mr. David Miller

Born and raised in Hinesville, Ga, I grew up around education and sports.  My mom--an elementary school teacher--brought me to the joy of teaching someone something new.  My dad--a high school football coach--showed me not only the love of athletics but also how to never give up on someone.  I try to bring these qualities into the classroom every day in attempt to make every student better, some how, some way.

I graduated from Bradwell Institute in 2011 and went onto Georgia State University where I played football and received my degree in Middle Level Education with the concentration of math and social studies.  I student taught and then taught for one year at Wesley International Academy where I was touched by the lives of the class of 2020.

My wonderful fiance made the move from Atlanta to Charleston easy.  I love this beautiful city and the students that I get to teach every day.

My educational background has privileged me to teach in a social way that promotes cross curriculum content.  I firmly believe that when the students see mathematics around them, they are likely to become more interested and retain the information.
