"Evil" by Wesley Outley
What keeps the homeless, homeless.
What keeps the poor, poor.
What creates depression, what starts wars.
It's the face of terrorism.
The voice of quiet racism.
That keeps us thinking only of ourselves.
While some poor soul's crying for help.
It's evil that everyone shows.
That makes it harder to look into our souls
That turns our eyes away and says so.
Makes us do things we'll later on regret.
Shapes the world into nothing but money and sex.
Forces us to lose all respect.
And treat each other like we have no intellect.
It funds rape, molestation, and killing.
Makes us lose every ounce of feeling.
Even turn politicians to stealing.
Keep our school kids out there wheelin' and dealing.
And grow up to be bangers and gangsters
Keep all people unequal.
I'm trying to tell you that the greatest threat is
our own evil.

"Faces of Evil" by Reginald Scott
What are the faces of evil?
For those who desecrate the freedom of the mind That show sorrow –
The face of madmen
Hardened by a mind of domination
Faces of evil
Welcome them or not
The faces of evil will disregard any sympathy with their dismissive eyes
Faces of evil
The faces of evil shut down the minds of good;
Irrelevant minds are no good against faces of evil, are they?
Evil faces sculpted into the form of power
In the past as hardened faces of the present…
The future
Can you recognize the face of evil? |
